Gloom and Shroom Add-on
Gloom and Shroom Addon is an instigative addition to any survival world! Dusk and Shroom is a veritably mushroom-concentrated add-on designed substantially around the enormous and complex Mushroom Tabernacles that can be planted throughout your world.
Every tabernacle has an aimlessly generated interior analogous to a mineshaft or fort. They are kindly rare, but their oddity can be acclimated in the Behavior Pack options menu. In these Tabernacles, you can find colorful mobs, decorations, particulars, and indeed a new master with an original master theme.
Also, as a perk, I’ve made a show world that you can download alongside the add-on if you want to fluently see everything included with this add-on.
As a memorial, be sure to enable experimental gameplay for this add-on to work!
The most common mobs plant in Mushroom Tabernacles are the Mushlings. While not veritably dangerous by themselves, one shouldn’t underrate their power when in figures. They can compactly beget nausea with their headbutt, which can be veritably disorienting if you’re hit constantly.
Mushlings, still, will mistake you for a fellow mushroom if you are wearing a mushroom cap. While wearing a cap, you can constrain them with bonemeal or rotten meat. They’re decomposers, after all. Once regulated, their cap can be bepainted any color. When killed, they have a low chance to drop their separate color of Mushroom Cap.

Mushling Sentry Sprout
Mushling Watchers are immobile turret-suchlike mushrooms that fire spotlights at the player on sight. When the player gets too close to the Mushling Sentry, it’ll hide under its defensive cap until the player gets far enough down.
Just like Mushlings, the watch will mistake the player for a fellow mushroom when they’re wearing a mushroom cap, but they can not be regulated this way. Rather, to get a regulated watch, one must grow it from a Mushling watch sow (These can be plant in cases or dropped by adversary watchers). When grown from these, they will be friendly to the player and foe to monsters. Their cap can also be bepainted. Be careful to grow them with bonemeal, as you may accidentally bepaint them white when they’re completely grown.
Last but veritably not least is the Doom Shroom. The Doom Shroom is the first master of this add-on, with several further in development for future releases. He is the biggest and baddest of all of the mushroom mobs and will fluently whop you if you are unrehearsed.
The Doom Shroom has several different attack patterns that he switches to throughout the master battle. He punches, smashes, stomps, spins, and indeed fires his arms out like dumdums before growing them back. Once defeated, he’ll drop a brace of his hand Doom Shroom Trials and allow the player to break into the treasure room of the tabernacle. I tried my hardest to make the Doom Shroom feel like a factual master battle. I indeed orchestrated an each-new theme just for this fight.
Gloom and Shroom Addon includes a whole host of blocks, including several mushroom-themed decoration blocks similar as the mushroom arbor, mushroom gills, two colors of wall mushrooms, mushroom roots, and the mushroom lantern. Mushroom Roots can be tended with bonemeal.
Another farmable block is the Mineshroom. They’re mushrooms that act like land mines and grow to conterminous blocks when put underground, just like red and brown mushrooms. Be careful when gathering them.
Incipiently, we’ve themini-mushroom. When planted, it looks just like a lower interpretation of the regular red mushroom. Still, given enough time (or bone mess) and space, themini-mushroom will fluently distinguish itself by growing an entirely new dungeon! This allows you to potentially produce a mushroom tabernacle closer to home if you can not find any near.
Gloom and Shroom Addon also includes several functional blocks as well in the form of Mushroom Hedge Blocks. When unpowered, they act like any other block. Still, when they are powered, indicated by the glowing unheroic cracks, they’re imperishable.
They compass the treasure room and can be broken formerly the master is defeated. They can be reactivated by the player by the use of the Mushroom Hedge Power Source. This block can be attained from treasure room cases or by casting.
Items and Weapons:
In the tabernacle, you can find the preliminarily mentioned brown and red mushroom caps as well as golden mushrooms and their separate stew. The golden mushroom acts like the golden apple and gives the stoner strength and immersion. It can also be drafted into a new and more important suspicious stew. This stew grants the player a arbitrary set of important enchantments. It’s like a really beefed-up interpretation of regular suspicious stew.
The Mushroom Staff of Transformation or just Mushroom staff, does what its name implies. When you bop a monster on the head, they will turn into a arbitrary Mushling. This doesn’t work on heads, still.
The coming armament is the Mushling watch eye. It can be plant in cases and allows the stoner to fire spotlights just like the watchers it comes from. There is not much further to say about it. other than it’s really delightful to use.
The last and utmost unique of the munitions in Gloom and Shroom Addon are the Doom Shroom Trials. These are dropped directly by the Doom Shroom himself and allow you to attack the same way the master does; you can deliver a important punch and fire them out like dumdums. I haven’t tested this out with a touch screen, however, so it may act a little strangely on mobile bias.
All of the munitions over can be repaired with their separate mushrooms at an anvil if they are about to break.

- They now generate as intended and are not empty.
