Upon spawning into your new world, Crazy Dave will greet you and gift you your very first item: the Dave Phone.

Sun
Sun is your primary resource for survival. You will need it to deploy defense plants, nourish crops in the Zen Garden, and craft essential recipes. Sun drops naturally across the open world or generates from specific producer plants—simply break the sun drops to collect them.
Plant Gathering & Placement
Plants generate naturally across the world, and defeat is required to harvest their seeds. Be cautious: certain plants will fight back, while others vanish if not collected within a limited timeframe. To deploy plants for defense, you must carry both their seeds and the required amount of Sun in your inventory at all times.
Zombie
Zombies represent the ultimate threat to your survival. Ranging from swift, agile runners to heavily armored brute variants, these foes employ diverse tactics to breach your perimeter. Keep your plant defenses ready and maintain a steady supply of Sun to withstand every incoming wave.
Zen Garden System
The Zen Garden is your ultimate resource for generating plant seeds. Plants placed here start in a dormant state and naturally awaken over time to produce seeds. You can feed your plants Sun to accelerate production speed, or use a Coffee Bean to awaken dormant plants instantly.
Self-defending
Beyond plant defenses, tools like the Rifle and Lawnmower offer powerful direct protection. The Lawnmower serves a dual purpose: it acts as a reliable personal vehicle to clear land by cutting grass while simultaneously functioning as a last-line defense against approaching zombie lines.
Equippable Items
Defeated zombies have a chance to drop unique equipment that enhances your survival capabilities. Collect these rare drops to reduce incoming damage, boost your movement speed, or increase seed drop rates during combat.
